The Board of Educational Affairs (BEA) of the APA has recognized the work of the Institute on Social Exclusion by awarding it $1,000 in support of its Social Exclusion Conference Series. The award, granted for innovations in graduate education, constitutes an "acknowledgment and compliment" by the BEA on the work we are doing at the Institute. The award process was extremely competitive, dispensing only $10,000 nationwide.
