Graduates of the Master of Arts programs in Counseling, Organizational Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Art Therapy are qualified to sit for the licensing examination for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) in the State of Illinois. With additional post-graduate, supervised clinical experience, graduates of the M.A. programs are eligible to sit for the licensing examination for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) in the State of Illinois. However, students should be aware that licensure requirement may change due to legislative changes made and such changes cannot always be anticipated by the Adler School.
