Continuing/Professional Education

The Adler School is committed to providing lifelong learning and service to the public. The school offers continuing professional education courses, seminars, and workshops. Courses may also be taken on an audit basis for purposes of continuing professional education. Qualified psychology graduate students, social workers, nurses, psychologists, physicians, and other health care professionals may register for continuing education offerings in order to earn continuing education credits. They may also register for individual courses or coursework required for a certificate in order to earn academic credit as a student-at-large. The School is approved by the following organizations to sponsor continuing education programs (CEU):
- The American Psychological Association
- The National Board for Certified Counselors
- The State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations (for Registered Social Workers)
- The Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association.
