Qualifying Examinations

An important element of education and training at the Adler School of Professional Psychology is the requirement of capstone tasks to assess students' readiness to practice professionally at an entry-level upon graduation. The qualifying examinations for the Masters and Doctoral programs are designed to assess students' clinical proficiency in critical areas of practice. Successful passage of the examinations assure that students have received the preparation necessary for the clinical roles they will perform after graduation.

All M.A. degree programs require the successful completion of the M.A. Clinical Qualifying Examination.

The Psy.D. degree program requires successful completion of the Community Service Capstone Paper and the Doctoral Clinical Qualifying Examination, Assessment and Intervention Competencies.
