    Mark Lecker teaches participants how to be safe in an urban environment. He focuses on protecting yourself using a combination of targeted punches and kicks through a variety of martial arts movements. His practice is defensive not offensive. Mark teaches maneuvers, which will keep you out of harm’s way by blocking an attacker.

    Self-defense will be held in the Wellness Room on the 16th floor. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

    The Office of Admissions invites you to join us for an Information Session! At an Information Session, you will meet one of our Admissions Counselors and receive a tour of the campus. Following the tour, Admissions Counselors will review program information and answer questions for those who are interested. Tours will begin promptly at 2:00pm, so please allow plenty of time to arrive to campus.

    Join us at this Open House to learn more about the Adler School Vancouver Campus, the Doctor in Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D.), the M.A. in Counselling Psychology (MAC), Master of Counselling Psychology (non-thesis MCP), Master of Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy (MCP:AT), and M.A. in Organizational Psychology (MAOP) programs.

    You will have the opportunity to speak with Adler School faculty, staff, and current students. During this session we will also be discussing admission requirements, program descriptions, finances, and answering any other questions you may have for us. Please plan to arrive on time as there will be a brief introduction by the Dean and a question and answer period starting at 1:00pm.

    Leilanii Mesa is a registered yoga teacher, who has studied the practice for 10 years. She enjoys sharing her spiritual, mental and physical transformation with participants. Leilanii uses a gentle yet invigorating approach to relax the mind and body, as well as strengthen the body.

    Andrea DiRosa provides a mid-week energy boost. This fun and easy to follow cardio dance class combines high-energy and motivating Latin music with unique moves and combinations that make you forget you’re working out.

    The Adler School of Professional Psychology will host the 5th graduate student conference, “Multifaceted Themes of Diversity." The conference will cover diversity broadly defined including: ethnicity/race, national origin, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, gender/gender identity, ability, religion, and age.

    Pre-registration is encouraged; the conference is free and open to students and faculty sponsors. Confirm your attendance before 9 a.m. on Monday, November 17 by emailing mtdc@adler.edu. Event includes a networking lunch.
