Policies

The Library serves the teaching, research, and scholarly activities of the Adler School faculty, staff, and students. In accordance with the Code of Ethics of the American Library Association, the Library will "protect each library user's right to privacy and confidentiality with respect to information sought or received and resources consulted, borrowed, acquired, or transmitted."

The Library asks borrowers to honor due dates, recall notices, and circulation restrictions. Students are charged fines for overdue books. As a courtesy to fellow borrowers, we encourage responsibility with Library material to ensure items are not damaged or lost. Students or faculty who will be on extended leave should return Library materials before departure.
