    Dr. Ileana Ungureanu, LMFT and Core Faculty in the Couple and Family Therapy Department, will be discussing trauma as it relates to couples therapy. This online event is designed for prospective students who are interested in learning about couple and family therapy and is a unique opportunity to engage with faculty and students at Adler University. There will be a Q&A following the presentation about the topic of trauma and how it connects with Adler University’s Couple and Family Therapy programs.

    The Adler Abilities Symposium is an event that works to foster a deeper understanding of the issues that persons with disabilities face and overcome daily. Through guest presentations from Chicago community members, non-profits, students, as well as artistic performances, the Abilities Symposium's primary focus is on ability, resilience, and available resources within the Chicago community that assist persons with disabilities specifically focusing on sport, physical activity, and workplace resources.

    Registration is free and opens at 12:30 p.m. outside of Community Hall. Attendees from outside of the Adler Community please RSVP by Friday, April 10 by emailing Tanya Prewitt-White.
