Core Faculty, M.A. in Counseling Psychology Program

As a teacher, I have a duty to my profession, to my students, and to myself. Fulfilling this duty requires that I never stop learning, that I evaluate my performance among colleagues and students, and that I lead by example inside and outside the classroom. I strive to give all students an opportunity to learn by promoting intellectual diversity. It is because of my respect for diversity that I insist on a positive learning environment in which students can develop critical thinking skills and grow as socially responsible clinicians.

I teach at Adler because of its mission and vision of growth, excellence, social justice, and inclusion. I have been greatly impressed by our students and their commitment to learning, hard work, and open-mindedness. All of our students are invested in changing the world and addressing social injustice. I teach students at Adler but learn from them every day.
