Vancouver Core Faculty
At a graduate level, students are highly motivated to learn, making Adler a compelling environment in which to teach. I typically teach applied counselling courses and, as a result, my philosophy is student focused. My job is to provide a stimulating environment where learning material is presented, modeled, and then experienced by the students. I encourage a lively exchange of ideas, and students are expected to offer the unique perspective they bring to the work of counselling.
The Adler model of social interest forms a vital perspective among approaches to professional psychology. Because this core focus is woven throughout the social, academic, and administrative environment, Adler is unique among professional psychology schools.
