  • Life After Adler: Debt and Loan Repayment (+)

    A panel of recent Adler School graduates discuss their personal experiences in dealing with debt and loan repayment post-graduation. Patrick Well's of the Adler School Office of Financial Aid will complete the event by providing tips and strategies on how to manage debt and loan repayment.

    The panelists are:

    Jon Rosenfield, MAC '11. Jon currently works as a career counselor for Loyola University Chicago, and has recently consolidated and negotiated his loan debt.

    Nadia Jackson, Psy.D. '03. Nadia currently works at Haymarket Center and is starting a private practice. A number of her loans were
    private, providing an interesting perspective. Additionally, she can speak to the extraordinary efforts some graduates have to make to repay loans.
     

    Angela Adams Ali M.A.F. '09. Angela has a BBA in finance and worked in the corproate sector before pursing her master's degree at the Adler School. She is also completing her Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, and is in the process of starting her own consulting business.

  • Of Walls & Wars: Dialogues to Bridge Differences (+)

    As part of three of the Difficult Dialogues Series, "Of Walls and Wars: Dialogues to Bridge Differences" will feature Kenneth V. Hardy, Ph.D., a professor of family therapy at Drexel University, and internationally recognized clinician and author. Dr. Hardy is also the Director of the Eikenberg Institute for Relationships in New York City where he maintains a private practice specializing in working with traumatized and oppressed populations.

    • Practice new ways to engage in diversity dialogues in various settings
    • Advance your ability to communicate across differences
    • Heal wounds of misunderstanding and mistrust in our community
    • Develop deeper relationships with colleagues across differences

    RSVP to Josefina Alvarez is required by Tuesday, Nov. 12. Please indicate your preferred time (9-Noon or 1-4 p.m.)
