  • Common Hour: Inequality is What Ails Us (+)

    12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
    Chicago Campus, Community Hall

This common hour discusses health and wellness in an age of historic wealth and income inequality in the United States. It explores the connections between health and housing, neighborhood segregation, and school and justice systems. All of these systems are drivers of health and wellness and all of these systems, in one way or another, are inextricably linked with rising inequality—wealth accumulation of the few at the expense of the many. Through both presentation and interactive discussion, this common hour will explore whether we can make an impact on health and wellness without new redistributive policies that close the runaway wealth and income gaps.
