A panel of recent Adler School graduates discuss their personal experiences in dealing with debt and loan repayment post-graduation. Patrick Well's of the Adler School Office of Financial Aid will complete the event by providing tips and strategies on how to manage debt and loan repayment.
The panelists are:
Jon Rosenfield, MAC '11. Jon currently works as a career counselor for Loyola University Chicago, and has recently consolidated and negotiated his loan debt.
Nadia Jackson, Psy.D. '03. Nadia currently works at Haymarket Center and is starting a private practice. A number of her loans were
private, providing an interesting perspective. Additionally, she can speak to the extraordinary efforts some graduates have to make to repay loans.
Angela Adams Ali M.A.F. '09. Angela has a BBA in finance and worked in the corproate sector before pursing her master's degree at the Adler School. She is also completing her Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, and is in the process of starting her own consulting business.

The Elina Manghi Memorial Child and Adolescent Psychology Lecture and Scholarship Reception.Featured topic and lecture is "Treating a Moody Child: Psychoeducational Psychotherapy A Starting Point Model for Child/Family Therapy” presented by Mary A. Fristad, Ph.D., ABPP.
Dr. Fristad’ s area of specialty is childhood mood disorders. Author of Raising a Moody Child: How to Cope with Depression, she has also published over 150 articles and book chapters addressing the assessment and treatment of childhood-onset depression, suicidality and bipolar disorder (manic-depression). Dr. Fristad serves on the Board of Directors for five web-based education and support groups for children and families with mood disorders.
The annual Elina Manghi Memorial Lecture promotes the vision and passion of Elina Manghi, Psy.D,. A Professor in the Adler School Department of Clinical Psychology who led the Child and Adolescent Track of the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) Program., Dr. Manghian exemplary clinician, researcher and teacher, whose compassion and generosity deeply touched everyone with whom she worked.
Established in 2012, the Elina Manghi Memorial also provides an annual Diversity Scholarship to support students from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds studying Child and Adolescent Psychology at the Adler School.
