The following is an alphabetical list of databases available through the Mosak Library. Subject-specific lists of databases are available for the subjects of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Mental Health Sciences, Criminal Justice, Health and Medical Sciences, Education, Business, General Scholarly Research, and General Reference.
Academic Search Premier
Multi-disciplinary database providing full text for nearly 4,650 scholarly journals, including 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. Subject coverage includes (but is not limited to) psychology, sociology, medical sciences, ethnic studies, art and literature.
Article First
OCLC's index of articles from the contents pages of over 16,000 journals, from 1990 to present. Topics include business, humanities, social sciences, medicine, technology and popular culture. Some full-text is available.
Business Source Elite
Full-text coverage of nearly 1,100 business publications and economics journals (including nearly 500 peer-reviewed publications), and indexing and abstracts for more than 1,750 journals. Also includes detailed company profiles for the world's top 10,000 companies. Full-text coverage ranges from 1985 to present. Updated daily.
Clase and Periódica
Index of documents published in Latin American journals specializing in social sciences, humanities, science, and technology. Offers access to more than 400,000 bibliographic citations in Spanish, Portuguese, French and English, from 2,600 publications edited in 24 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, or focusing on Pan-American issues.
Criminal Justice Periodicals
Comprehensive database of U.S. and international research support literature for students interested in careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law, and industrial security. Includes abstract and indexing for over 230 titles, with more than 80 available in full-text.
Dissertations and Theses
Full text access to over 2 million master's theses and dissertations in a wide variety of disciplines. Over 60,000 titles added every year.

ERIC
Educational Resource Information Center database. Provides access to education literature and resources from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. Full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
Over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas, including some entries with images. Some biographical entries. Updated annually.
Government Publications Office Index
Index of US government documents, from 1976 to present. Includes Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records; judiciary materials; and documents issued by executive departments (Defense, State, Labor, Office of the President, etc.). Includes a bibliographic citation in each record. Updated monthly.
Health Source: Consumer Edition
Provides full-text access to consumer health magazines and health-related pamphlets from the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health disciplines. Includes full-text coverage of 130 health reference books, Merriam-Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary, and the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide. Also contains more than 4,500 Clinical Reference Systems reports in English and Spanish.
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
Database of nearly 550 scholarly full text journals (including nearly 450 peer-reviewed) from medical disciplines, with particularly strong coverage of nursing and allied health. Also includes the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which provides access to up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs.
LexisNexis Academic
Provides access to over 6,000 news, business, and legal sources. News coverage includes national and regional newspapers, wire services, blogs, and TV/radio broadcast transcripts. Business coverage includes detailed company profiles and financial performance measures. Legal coverage includes citations for federal and states court cases back to 1789.
MEDLINE
Index of publications (1965-present) of all areas of medicine, including dentistry and nursing, with some full text content available in HTML. Corresponds to the print indexes Index Medicus, Index to Dental Literature, and International Nursing Index. Updated daily.
Military & Government Collection
Current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government. Provides full text for nearly 300 journals and periodicals and 245 pamphlets. Indexing and abstracts included for nearly 400 titles.
Newspaper Source
Cover-to-cover full text for 25 US & international newspapers and selected full text for more than 260 regional US newspapers. Full-text television and radio news transcripts are provided from CBS News, CNN, CNN International, FOX News, NPR, etc.
Papers First
Index of papers originally delivered at congresses, symposiums, conferences, expositions, workshops, and meetings. 1993 to present.
Periodical Abstracts
Abstracts and some full-text from general and academic journals. Topical coverage includes business, current affairs, economics, literature, religion, psychology, and women's studies.
Proceedings First
Index of proceedings from congresses, symposiums, conferences, expositions, workshops and meetings, both domestic and international. Records include lists of the papers presented at each conference.
Professional Development Collection
Specialized collection designed for professional educators providing full-text access to 520 high quality education journals (including nearly 350 peer-reviewed titles) and more than 200 educational reports. Indexing and abstracts provided for more than 700 journals. Full-text content dates as far back as 1965.
ProQuest Psychology Journals
Contains abstracts and indexing for more than 610 titles (with over 520 titles available in full text), and encompasses a wide range of topics in clinical and social psychology from leading psychology and psychosomatic publications. Also covers related disciplines including genetics, psychology of business and economics, communication, criminology, addiction, neurology, public health, and social welfare.
PsycBOOKS
Contains full text (PDF) of scholarly books published by the American Psychological Association. As of 2007, the database includes approximately 1,400 titles, 300 archival resources in psychology, and the exclusive electronic release of the APA/Oxford University Press Encyclopedia of Psychology. New content is added monthly.
PsycCRITIQUES
Contains reviews of material relevant to psychology. Updated weekly with approximately 18–20 reviews of psychological books most from the current copyright year, and a review of a popular film from a psychological perspective. Other content includes videos, comparative reviews, and retrospective reviews.
PsycINFO
Definitive database for psychology, psychiatry, and related mental health disciplines (including social, behavioral, and health sciences). Also includes material in related fields such as management, business, education, social science, neuroscience, law, medicine, and social work. Contains nearly 2.3 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, dating as far back as the 1800s. 98% of the covered material is peer-reviewed. New content added weekly.
