Vice President for Institutional Advancement

Anthony C. Chimera is the Vice President for Institutional Advancement. He completed his B.A. in Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago and received his M.B.A. in Marketing at Dominican University in River Forest. Anthony brings more than 25 years of fundraising management experience to Adler University with 20 years as a senior executive in the nonprofit sector. He is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive development strategy for capital, annual, endowment, and special project fundraising initiatives.

Most recently, Anthony served as Executive Director of Development for Dominican University, where he managed the day-to-day details of campaign planning & execution, annual fund development, major and planned giving execution. Prior to Dominican, Anthony was the Vice President for Institutional Advancement for De La Salle Institute in Chicago, responsible for all philanthropic activity throughout the institution. This included successfully completing the institution's first comprehensive campaign. 

Anthony is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Chicago Council on Planned Giving (CCPG). He is an active member of his local community in Oak Forest, where he lives with his wife and three children and coaches youth sports.
