Anthony C. Chimera is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement. He completed his B.A. in Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago and received his M.B.A. in Marketing at Dominican University in River Forest. Anthony brings twenty years of fundraising management experience to the Adler School with eighteen years as a senior executive in the nonprofit private sector. He is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive development strategy for capital, annual, endowment, and special project fundraising initiatives.

Most recently, Anthony served as Executive Director of Development for Dominican University, where he managed the day-to-day details of campaign planning & execution, annual fund development, and major and planned giving execution. Prior to Dominican, Anthony was the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for De La Salle Institute in Chicago, responsible for all philanthropic activity throughout the institution.

Anthony is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). He is also an active member of his local community in Oak Forest, where he lives with his wife and three children and coaches youth baseball and basketball.
