Saturday, October 27 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Adler School.
Join your fellow alumni, faculty and friends for this special evening as we celebrate The Adler School’s 60th anniversary year. Featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and presentation of the 2012 Outstanding Alumni Awards and Bill Powers Award for Police Psychology. Meet the 2012 Alumni Association Leadership Board, and get your friends together for a commemorative picture in our photo booth. Alumni are invited to bring family and friends.
Special Program Features
- Meet your ASAA Alumni Leadership Board: this is a great opportunity to get to know the new and returning member of the Adler School Alumni Leadership Board. Learn about the ways in which you can connect to the School through our committee, Alumni Ambassadors Program, and more!
- Photo Booth by r3mg Creative Boutique: get your friends and fellow alums together for a commemorative photo that you can take home. Hats, sunglasses and other accessories are available for your to create a one-of-a-kind memory.
- Outstanding Alumnus Awards: each year, the ASAA recognizes two alumni who have done stellar work in the field of psychology. The Outstanding Alumnus Awards are presented to one MA alumnus and one Psy.D. alumnus whose work reflects social responsibility while engaging communities and advancing social justice. Meet the 2011 Outstanding Alumni Award Recipients.
- The Bill Powers Outstanding Graduate Award in Police Psychology: the Bill Powers Award is presented annually to an Adler School graduate who embodies the mission of the Police Psychology program as well as the legacy of the late Commander Bill Powers.The award will be presented at this year’s Homecoming Reception by Dr. Victoria Priola-Surowiec, Department Chair of the MA program in Police Psychology and Mrs. Terri Powers, wife of the late Dr. Bill Powers-- the namesake of this award.
