About

The Office for Institutional Advancement encompasses myriad communications both internally and externally, which promote the School’s programs cultivating synergy, interest, and networks of committed supporters. The Office for Institutional Advancement is one of the ways the Adler School enacts its key strategy to ensure fiscal sustainability. As such, it encompasses the fundraising efforts of the School.

We pursue private and public funding through three means: Individual Giving, Major Gifts, and Corporate and Foundation Relations. Through these means, the Office for Institutional Advancement conducts research to identify funders; pursues individual donations, grant opportunities, and government support; manages donor cultivation; and, engages in stewardship activities such as events, reports, publications and personal contacts. Through its work, the Office for Institutional Advancement creates greater awareness and appreciation of the Adler School within the philanthropic community. In turn, this leads to financial support that promotes and extends the School’s mission.
