Our faculty are practitioners and thought leaders who regularly rethink and improve our pedagogy as the University builds new academic programs to meet emerging social needs—programs such as our Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology: Military Psychology Track which addresses the growing and specialized needs of active military personnel, military retirees, returning veterans, and their families and supporting communities. Another example is our Master of Arts in Criminology program, which uniquely prepares justice workers who are informed by psychology and social justice perspectives. One of the best ways to improve academic quality at an institution is by establishing endowed professorships. An endowed chair position creates a culture of excellence and attracts outstanding faculty and students.
