Visit the Campus

As you evaluate your options for graduate study, we encourage you to include a visit to the campus. The Vancouver Campus has been providing counselling training since the early 1970s and officially became a campus of the Adler School in 2005. As an integral component of the Adler School, we maintain and advance its mission and vision while enjoying a culture and curriculum distinct to the Vancouver Campus.

The campus is located in the downtown area of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In addition to the amenities and attractions Vancouver has to offer, there are other benefits of attending a school of psychology in a major metropolitan area. The first benefit is the diversity provided by area residents. Students can experience this diversity not only in their personal lives, but also in the large range of practicum sites.

The metropolitan area also provides students with opportunities that will prove valuable to their personal development and learning experiences: world-class universities, teaching hospitals, cultural institutions, and museums.

Finally, its location in a major metropolitan area provides insight into many of the issues that confront future client populations. These issues include poverty, violence, domestic abuse, loss of employment, and health issues associated with urban life.

To arrange a campus visit, please contact the Vancouver Office of Admissions by e-mail or phone (604-482-5510). The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For parking and transit information, click here.
