Core Faculty, M.A. in Organizational Psychology Program

My Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology is underscored by a clinical psychology background and experience as senior management of Human Resources in international settings. In addition to being core faculty in the M.A. in Organizational Psychology program at Adler University, I have held posts as an associate lecturer in the M.Sc. program at Open University, a course instructor in the M.B.A. program at Oxford University, and head of the leadership program at INSEAD business school. I am a Certified Human Resources Professional (HRPAO) with a keen interest in organizational change, culture and leadership.

My career in Human Resources began in the UK, and I have extensive international experience implementing and leading HR, including off-shoring/near-shoring in emerging and established organizations. After working with the British government, I was responsible for leading Human Resources for the African operation of Oce, a Dutch company employing over 28,000 employees. Later, as the HR lead I managed the growth of Acorn Computing, a rapidly growing UK-based technology company, overseeing the introduction of two new manufacturing plants and designing unique joint venture partnerships. On a special overseas assignment while serving as Director of Management Development (EMEA) at American Express, I was charged with refocusing the goals of the Canada business back to core financial products. Later, I led executive and leadership development for the Europe Middle East Africa and India divisions at Unisys, and there, I went on to the role of Global Head of Talent Management. Prior to joining Adler University I was Vice President of Human Resources for a major Crown Corporation in British Columbia. I also have also launched a start-up company developing and operating an independent HR consulting practice focussing on banking and industrial sectors.
