Coalition Building to Lower Recidivism
The Justice Department has funded an effort to bring together many agencies in Racine, Wisconsin in an effort to better services for inmates 6 months before release, and after they are released. IPSSJ will provide expertise and assist in the evaluation of the current system, as well as guiding the coalition on steps and measures of success which may lead to the possibility of receiving an implementation grant in the 2012 fiscal year.
Cook County Jail
The IPSSJ has been working with the Sheriff’s office in collaboration with health services at Cook County Jail to develop, implement, and evaluate programming that will create a better environment for the jail staff.
