Vice President of Academic Affairs

The Adler School of Professional Psychology is pleased to announce that Wendy Paszkiewicz, Psy.D, has been named Vice President of Academic Affairs, overseeing faculty and academic programs, academic enrichment, and community engagement and training.

"This is an exciting time working with leadership and faculty as we continue to grow the depth and scope of the Adler School's academic programs, as we further integrate socially responsible practice into the curriculum, and as we expand our partnerships within our communities to advance social change," Dr. Paszkiewicz said.

Dr. Paszkiewicz joined the Adler School in 2004, and most recently served as the Vice President of Community Engagement and Training. She previously served in roles as Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs, and Director of the Office of Training. She has been a member of the School’s Leadership Team since 2009.

A licensed clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Paszkiewicz is nationally recognized for her expertise in the integration of socially responsible practice in the education and training of future mental health professionals. 

She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Illinois Psychological Association, and serves as Immediate Past President of the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology. In fall 2011, she was named recipient of the 2011 Education Advocacy Grassroots Distinguished Service Award by the American Psychology Association (APA) Board of Educational Affairs.
