Dr. Lauka will discuss how students in this program will be educated on advanced counseling, clinical supervision, teaching, research, and leadership and advocacy. This webinar will start with a presentation by Dr. Lauka then end with a facilitated Q&A.

Dr. Koch will also discuss topics such as clinical counseling and advocacy services in the criminal justice setting as well as licensure eligibility to prepare you as a socially responsible practitioner.     You will have the opportunity to speak with Adler School faculty, staff, and current students. During this session we will also be discussing admission requirements, program descriptions, finances, and answering any other questions you may have for us.     The Level 1 training will give students new insight into couples’ struggles using research-based assessments and effective interventions based on the Gottman Sound Relationship House Theory. The program combines lecture footage from a live Level 1 Training presented by Dr. John and Julie Gottman, actual video footage from Dr. John Gottman’s research with couples, and film clips from the Gottmans’ clinical practice. It incorporates small group discussions and a Q&A session with a Certified Gottman Therapist to enhance learning opportunities.     This event is open to Adler University students and alumni only. The cost is $99; 11 CEs are offered and cost an additional $29.99.
