As a part of Black History Month Programming sponsored by the Department of Counseling and Counselor Education and the Adler Counseling Student Association, a screening and discussion of "Eyes on the Prize" will be held in Community Hall on Monday, February 27th from 6-8:30pm. Eyes on the Prize is an award-winning documentary series about the glory years of the American Civil Rights Movement. Snacks will be provided.

As part of this year's Mission Possible, Adler University's Institute on Public Safety and Social Justice will initiate a new social justice award. This award will recognize the exceptional efforts of the Adler Community who work to enhance social justice and inclusion of marginalized populations. The Social Justice Awards highlight individuals' tireless efforts to impact our world, and inspire others to do the same. Anyone from any Adler University campus can be nominated. There will be an award issued in each of these categories:
- Faculty-- core and adjuncts
- Staff --all Adler employees including contractual employees
- Students--Encouraged from all campuses.
