Chicago Tribune interviewed Joshua Wolff, Ph.D., about the significance of a new report from the U.S. Government's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration calling for an end to conversion therapy.

Wolff was among the 13 psychologists who helped write the report Ending Conversion Therapy: Supporting and Affirming LGBTQ Youth

"It's a huge deal for this to come from the White House. To my knowledge, it's the first time a condemnation of this practice has come from the federal government," said Wolff.

Dr. Wolff is a professor of clinical psychology at Adler whose clinical practice and research specializes in pediatric clinical psychology, LGBTQ youth issues and the psychology of religion.
