To maintain their competitive advantage, businesses must constantly adapt and change. Yet employees may impede that change if they don't understand the need or see the benefits.

In his latest regular column for Smart Business Chicago, the Adler School’s Jay Colker, D.M., M.B.A., M.A., outlines five key components to successfully helping employees adapt to change--including a summary of effective leadership approaches to the process. Dr. Colker is Core Faculty in the School's M.A. in Counseling and Organizational Psychology Program.
