Dr. Douglas Craig Interviewed for
National Magazine Story on First Responders & Mental Health

As a psychologist and former police officer, Douglas Craig, Psy.D., Core Faculty for the Adler School’s M.A. in Police Psychology Program, has unique insights into the emotional and mental health challenges that firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics face as part of their work responding to crises and trauma.

He offers his expertise on the challenges and how first responders can cope with them in Heroes at Risk: First Responders, the cover feature for the summer 2011 issue of Esperanza, a national magazine for the mental health community including those facing mental health conditions and challenges, their families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
