Elena Quintana, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Institute on Public Safety and Social Exclusion at the Adler School of Professional Psychology, joined WBEZ-FM blogger Claire Zulkey for a wide-ranging live discussion with "The Afternoon Shift" host Rick Kogan on WBEZ-FM 91.5, Chicago's National Public Radio affiliate.

In reviewing the news of the day, they discussed topics including alternatives to incarceration, and recent widespread support for marriage equality on social media.
