FOX 32 Interviews Dr. Troiani on What Makes a Hero

Fox 32 interviewed Joseph Troiani, Ph.D., about the thwarted terror attack on a train in France and what leads people to commit heroic actions. Troiani likened bravery to the Adlerian concept of social interest.

“Part of it is courage, part of it is putting the greater good before oneself,” said Troiani.

Dr. Troiani is an expert in military psychology and substance abuse and is core faculty for Adler's online Master's in Psychology: Specialization in Military Psychology program.
