Insight into Diversity interviewed Raymond E. Crossman, Ph.D., on the Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage. The decision was made the same day as the first-ever LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education conference, which is focused on mentoring the next generation of 'out' college and university presidents as they ascend to the senior-most positions.

“This decision stimulates an ongoing movement, and it will continue the discussion and work within the academy to make LGBTQ rights more fully realized for the whole country,” Dr. Crossman said.

Dr. Crossman is president of Adler University, a psychologist and family therapist, as well as a a co-founder of LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education.
