Talk Sports 1270 interviewed Tanya Prewitt-White, Ph.D., about training athletes to get out of their "comfort zone" and into their "growth zone" by helping them accept that they will make mistakes in the process of improving their skills.

"We get kids, maybe in high school or college, that become so afraid of trying anything outside their comfort zone that they never get any better and they're paralyzed by fear." said Prewitt-White

Dr. Prewitt-White is Interim Director of Adler's Sport and Health Psychology program. Her areas of interest and expertise include the exploitation of women in recruiting male athletes to college sports programs.
