Windy City Times interviewed Raymond E. Crossman about "Shaping Our Futures," a first-of-its-kind conference hosted at Adler by the LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education. The conference is focused on mentoring the next generation of 'out' college and university presidents as they ascend to those senior-most positions.

In discussing the organization's membership growth—now up to 50—Crossman said, "Keep in mind that's 50 out of approximately 4,500 of these kinds of jobs in this country. We know, percentage-wise, there should be more of us. We hear stories every day about people who aren't getting hired."

Dr. Crossman is president of Adler University and a psychologist and family therapist.
