JOB TITLE: Program Director/ Core Faculty, Masters of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (MIO)
Candidates with particular interest and expertise in the areas of industrial and organizational psychology are desired.
Applicants must have a doctorate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, demonstrate a strong record of graduate-level teaching and substantial online expertise, familiarity with the scholar-practitioner training model including evidence of proficiency in scholarship and other professional activities. It is preferred that this individual has a track record of administrative and leadership expertise including demonstrated capabilities to manage a diverse range stakeholders including instructors both on campus and off site. The position requires excellent communication, effective interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with students, faculty, and a range of professional staff. A particular commitment of the School, rooted in Adler's emphasis on social interest, is training psychologists to work with marginalized and underserved populations and who are committed to social justice. Demonstrated commitment to socially responsible practice, social justice issues and diversity in the workplace is desirable.
Position duties include teaching selected online courses, advisement of graduate students, administrative leadership, service provision to Adler School and greater professional community, participation in institutional committees, chairing capstone examinations, collaboration in marketing and recruitment of students and managing a range of business practicum sites.
