Pursuing a graduate degree at the Adler School is one of the most important steps you can take toward making a difference in the lives of others and in your community.
Historically, times of economic uncertainty have spurred people to pursue their educational goals to lay the groundwork for a new career, but many question whether they can afford to make that important investment in their futures in our present economic climate. At the Adler School of Professional Psychology, we would like to assure you that yes, you can afford a graduate education.
All students who meet federal eligibility requirements are guaranteed Direct Loans through the Department of Education's Title IV Federal Assistance Program. M.A. and Certificate candidates are awarded $20,500 in Direct Loans each academic year, and Psy.D. candidates are awarded $37,165 per year, regardless of financial need or credit history.
Direct Loans are just one of many sources of financial assistance available to help you pay for your education at the Adler School. As an Adler School student, you may be eligible for any or all of these forms of funding to cover the cost of your education and living expenses:
How Financial Aid Funds are Disbursed
All loans and scholarships are sent directly to the school to be applied to a student's account. If a student has requested more financial aid than is needed to cover his or her balance, the student is issued a refund check for the remaining funds to be used towards living expenses.
Students who have been hired for work study positions receive an hourly wage and are paid twice a month.
