Thomas G. O’Shaughnessy is President, Healthtech – A Nordic Global Company, based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.
For 21 years, Thomas’ core area of focus has been the Canadian health care sector, specifically focused on health care strategy, implementation and senior-level stakeholder engagement within the public sector, where he led transformational initiatives at the provincial and regional levels. He is a recognized expert in service model modernization within Canada’s health care system and has practiced extensively in this area, particularly in the area of primary care reform. Prior to his work in Western Canada, Thomas served as a member of the Senior Leadership Team at one of Ontario’s fastest growing and most diverse Local Health Integration Networks.
Thomas currently serves as a Board Director for Arts Umbrella Vancouver, where he chairs the Board’s revenue development efforts. He is also actively involved in Vancouver’s Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation, and is a former Board Director at Casey House and the 519 Church Street Community Centre in Toronto. Mr. O’Shaughnessy is also a former Vice Chair and Director of the Executive Committee of Convocation at Trinity College, within the University of Toronto.
