Dr, Cara Murphy, Psy.D., is the Training Director at Adler University’s Adler Community Health Services Program in the Division of Teen Wellness and Opportunity. She has years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, program development specialist, and mental health administrator. Her interests are adolescents, trauma, supervision, and socially responsible practice.
She is a life-long learner and is committed to providing training opportunities to students who provide therapeutic services to young people who otherwise may not have access to them. As the Training Director, the leadership qualities she values are transparency, empathy, and gratitude. In her spare time, Dr. Murphy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching baseball.
