Chicago | Staff Psychologist | Adler Community Health Services
As a licensed, clinical, Child/Adolescent and Family psychologist, I have experience working in residential facilities, public/non-public/therapeutic day schools, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health, private group practice and in the primary care setting. I consider myself a systems oriented psychologist with CBT tendencies; meaning I conceptualize my clients from a systems/family systems perspective and often incorporate CBT techniques in my interventions. I am most passionate about working with high school age youth and their families, especially those who suffer from trauma related disorders, high conflict families, high risk behaviors, disruptive behaviors, substance use disorders, and severe depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience in conducting complex psychological evaluation (cognitive, academic, executive functioning, trauma, and social emotional functioning) and providing consultation and mediation services for families and school districts based on these results or collaborative consultation. I’m currently licensed to work in IL, but also have worked as a licensed psychologist in California and Washington.
Personally, I enjoying traveling, eating and sleeping. I really appreciate a good sense of humor and even more enjoy a good pun.
