Join us for an informational webinar to learn how to become an Art Therapist who uses clinical counseling techniques as a practice foundation. Adler University’s Master’s of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling with an emphasis on Art Therapy prepares socially responsible counselors to use the creative process to improve individuals’ physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of some of society’s most marginalized populations.
Don’t miss an opportunity to connect with Department Chair Dr. Jennifer La Civita, Psy.D., LCPC, ATR-BC., to learn about how our students gain the knowledge and skills to create real change in individuals’ lives through art. Dr. La Civita is a published author with expertise as an artist, art therapist, and Adlerian clinician. Her practices are in complementary and alternative modes of holistic healing, with a specialization in art therapy, bibliotherapy, journaling, meditation, music, yoga, and guided visualization. She believes in creating a safe place for self-expression using a gentle, compassionate approach, fostering healthy living through Positive Psychology.
We look forward to connecting with you!
