Reicherzer, Ph.D., LPC-Supervisor (Texas) as she shares information on Adler University’s Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision program (DCES). An innovative program that’s accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP).
Dr. Reicherzer will share details on how Adler’s DCES Ph.D. degree prepares students to become expert clinicians, academics, or professional consultants in a unique program guided by themes of freedom and liberation. In addition to how our program develops empathetic, compassionate, and socially responsible leaders to promote humanistic scholarship and practice.
Dr. Reicherzer believes each student has to take in the course through their own lens, looking at it through their own context. that each student has to take in the course through their own lens, looking at it through their own context. This means that a counselor teaching, supervision, research, or advocacy course all need to be extremely relevant to the student for the worlds they live in, the cultures they are a part of and engage with, and how they view themselves as future leaders and shapers of the counseling profession.
