In this 90-minute period of practice, Bethan will offer teachings from the tradition of the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh. This will include a guided meditation and a 30-minute video documentary of Thich Nhat Hanh’s life that explores the impact of colonialism, war and social engagement on his teachings and practice. There will be an introduction to the Five Mindfulness Trainings, a path to social justice and happiness in the individual, the family, the community and the world. A Question and Answer period will allow for general discussion.
