Em Chamberlain (they/them) is a sophomore at Illinois Wesleyan University studying elementary education and pursing endorsements in middle school mathematics and middle school social science. On my campus, I hold presidency and am the founder for both Project Leaders in Education Advocating for Diversity and the Students with Disabilities Association. I am also active within the Education Department and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
o I have a strong passion for social justice and equitable access to education. Through the career center at my school, I found this position. The importance of quality and accessible education to all individuals, system-impacted or not, is vital to me. I am beyond excited to work on this project because I get to utilize my strengths, learn new things, and work with others who share my beliefs.
