Course Evaluations
Students are asked to complete a course evaluation at the middle and end of every term for each standard course in which they are enrolled. Links are provided within Canvas courses and via email two weeks before the course end date and are available through 5 business days following the course end date.
OIE manages the course evaluations process for the University via Qualtrics. Contact OIE via email if you have questions.
Schedule
Mid-term evaluations apply to full-term (15- or 16-week) courses only. These will be distributed in week
7 and will close in week 9, allowing for a two-week response period. The mid-term evaluations are
comprised of two open-ended questions asking students what is going well, and what can be improved.
End-of-term evaluations apply to all standard courses and seminars. They are distributed two weeks
prior to the course end date and close 5 business days after the course end date.
Students will receive an automated notification two weeks prior to the end of their course that
evaluations are ready to be completed. Students will receive reminders every 7 days until they complete
all available evaluations or until the evaluations have closed. If they come to you for assistance on their
course evaluations, you can direct them to this informational article: How do I complete my course
evaluation feedback survey(s) as a student?
Upon closure of the data collection period, faculty receive an automated email from OIE@adler.edu
with a link to their updated evaluation results in Qualtrics. You can access your dashboard directly from
this email or use this link to log into Qualtrics and navigate to the Course Evaluation Dashboard.

End of Term and Midterm Evaluations Content
This is where you will find your end-of-term course evaluation content. End-of-term course evaluations include 18 items, with questions focused on both the course and the instructor. Midterm evaluations, on the other hand, consist of two open-ended questions asking students what is going well and what could be improved.
