Director, Office of the President

Mitzi Norton serves as the Director of the Office of the President for Adler University.  With more than 15 years of experience in executive administrative leadership, Mitzi is responsible for overseeing special projects initiated by the Office of the President, including the rotating art exhibit, strategic planning, and the University’s Annual Retreat, and also serves as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees.

Mitzi has also been an active member of the Board Professionals Leadership Group of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB) since 2008. She has held several leadership roles within AGB, such as the Chair of the Professional Development Committee of Board Professionals. Outside of Adler, Mitzi is the cofounder of Indivisible Brookfield, a local grassroots organization built on the values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness.

She completed her B.A. in Psychology from Creighton University and received her A.A.S. in Interior Design from the Harrington College of Design.
