Dual Degree Programs

Overview

  • Dual degree programs allow students to work towards two degrees simultaneously
  • Students can often earn both degrees in less time than pursuing each degree separately
  • Many dual degree programs include overlapping courses that can be used for both degrees which result in a lower cost of pursuing each field independently
  • Students can combine two skill and knowledge sets to increase career and networking opportunities

The Chicago campus of Adler University has developed dual degree programs to allow students the opportunity to pursue two different fields of study simultaneously. Students in dual degree programs may “double-count” a limited number of credit hours toward the requirements of both degrees. These overlap courses may not be available for all dual degree options and do not apply to certificate programs.

Admissions Requirements

Students are encouraged to declare dual degree status as soon as possible, either upon admission, entry into a program, or as soon as they have decided to participate in order to take advantage of the full benefits. Students must meet all admissions requirements and be accepted into both programs. Students will be able to add a degree until the first day of classes in their final term as an Adler student. Dual degrees and double-counting classes only apply for two degrees.
