Adler University’s Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program trains students to influence and revitalize domestic and international organizations as a scholar, practitioner, and entrepreneur.

Students will learn how to appraise, understand, and lead an organization – including how to build effective teams and how to motivate people to meet an organization’s goals. You’ll develop skills in research, data, and analytics to help make informed, strategic, and ethical decisions for both an organization and its societal initiatives.

Additionally, the program emphasizes innovation in leadership and how it can help develop employees, policies, and systems that foster more agile, ethical, and resilient organizations.

This 36-hour program includes 21 hours of core coursework and 9 hours of electives, and is designed to be completed in two years.

Professional Development & Training

The Social Justice Practicum is an anchor of student learning at Adler University. You’ll gain real-world experience working alongside a partner organization to advance social change in the community. This experiential learning process includes participating in online modules that explore civics, intersectionality, and community organizing and then completing projects that strengthen the social justice missions of our community partners. You will also have the option of completing either a capstone project or thesis to complete your studies.
