Admission Requirements for International Students

Graduates of Adler University are eligible for to apply for Canada’s Post Graduate Work Permit Program allowing them to gain valuable Canadian work experience.

Adler University Graduate Preparatory Program

Students who score a 6.0 overall on their IELTS, can meet the English proficiency requirements for admission to our Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Master of Public Policy and Administration programs by successfully completing Adler University’s 12-week, full-time Graduate Preparatory Program.

The Graduate Preparatory Program focuses on a unique blend of academic and business English, ensuring students are able to study, and complete assignments and examinations with confidence. Specific academic skills, such as essay writing, research methods, note taking, critical thinking and seminar or tutorial discussion, provide a strong foundation for our students. Material in the course covers current affairs and/or incorporate relevant public policy issues as well as key topics in industrial organizational psychology to bridge academic training with practical knowledge.
