My teaching style and thought process revolve around integrating academic and practitioner-related concepts into the learning experience to help students best understand and apply what they are learning in both the classroom and in their every day life. In both online and classroom-based learning, I believe that communication and engagement are key to having a successful and effective learning experience. Developing relationships and understanding what the lessons mean to my students are a top priority for me, as I try to find ways to help them connect with the material in the course and in their overall learning in the program.

In terms of my goals for the program, I have a few. For the program, I want to see it grow and flourish. I look forward to seeing how students learn and grow within the program, as well as seeing our faculty members continue to challenge themselves and their students. I hope to be an effective leader that is responsive to the needs of the students and faculty in the program. Professionally, I see the ties of my field – organizational leadership – merging with my role as Program Director; in this role, I get to focus on utilizing what I learned and what I am teaching in my work life. I hope that for the school, I can be instrumental in helping ensure that the Organizational Leadership degree programs draws and retains the best disruptors possible, who will go out into the world and make a difference in their communities.

I came into the Adler family almost two years ago, and I am so excited to become more involved in this amazing community. The students that I have encountered at Adler have been passionate, smart, and inquisitive, and they energize me. It is wonderful to work with students who love to be challenged and think outside of the box. Knowledge sharing is such a huge part of higher education, especially in a field like organizational leadership, and I love seeing that happen through our program communities. I look forward to seeing how we continue to push the envelope in helping our students be disruptors in the very best way.
