Adler University has named Chicago fundraising executive Mary Jo Lamparski to its Senior Leadership Team as the University’s Vice President for Institutional Advancement.

“I am very excited to bring Mary Jo on board,” said Raymond E. Crossman, Ph.D., President of Adler University. “She is one of Chicago’s senior fundraising leaders, with extensive experience in campaigns, board development, and fundraising strategy and execution. Her contributions to Adler’s mission will be tremendous.”

Previously, Lamparski served as Chief Advancement Officer with Envision Unlimited, a not-for-profit human service agency for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has also served as Chief Advancement Officer at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Erikson Institute. Prior to this, she held development positions at the University of Chicago Medical Center and Lurie Children’s Hospital.

In her role at Adler, Lamparski will lead the Office of Institutional Advancement in growing support for scholarships, capital projects, endowment, the work of the University’s Institutes and Centers, and operating expenditures.

“Adler has a phenomenal support system of alumni, donors, and partner organizations,” Lamparski said. “I’m looking forward to engaging with and expanding this inspiring community.”

Lamparski holds a bachelor of arts in speech from Marquette University, and she completed graduate coursework in early childhood development at Erikson Institute.
