Chicago Alumna Shares Benefits of Art Therapy in Chippewa Valley Family

Amy Hahn, alumna of the Adler University Chicago Campus Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology: Art Therapy program, wrote an article for Chippewa Valley Family that answers the question “What is art therapy?” for those unfamiliar with the service.

Hahn moved from Chicago to Eau Claire, Wisconsin after graduating to start her private art therapy practice inside the Eau Claire School of Music.

“Art accesses parts of the brain where non-verbal memories are stored, and a professionally trained art therapist helps process your story to guide the path to healing,” she said.
