Lauren Wozniak, M.A. '17, helps grieving families through counseling, support groups, and community outreach as a program manager at Willow House in Chicago. She was recently featured on WGN Chicago to promote the organization and talk about the benefits of art therapy for grieving children and teens.

“It’s really important for one to be able to express feelings of grief in order for us to continue to learn coping skills throughout life,” said Wozniak, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Counseling: Art Therapy program in Chicago. "If those feelings aren’t processed, it can lead to social and emotional, and even academic issues.”
