Matthew Finn, Psy.D., LCP, core faculty for the Master of Arts in Forensic Mental Health Leadership program in Chicago, was quoted in a Chicago Tribune article about his assessment of accused shooter Matthew Milby. Milby, charged with attempted murder for discharge of a firearm in a high school gym foyer in 2018, has been deemed unfit for trial.

Dr. Finn interviewed and assessed Milby, ultimately agreeing with the diagnosis Milby received while at Elgin Mental Health Center for schizotypal personality disorder.
